Where they stand
Views on the record but not scoreable bets: no single number and deadline to grade. Shown in their exact words, never scored.
David Booth (Dimensional) tells Fox Business stocks return about 10% a year over the long haul and investors must stay invested through downturns to get it.
stocks over the long haul have done 10 percent a year. But you got to be there to be assured of getting it.
Booth says AI will have a huge impact with big winners and losers, but picking which is which is very risky, so own all of them.
With AI, it's going to have a huge impact. We all agree with that. And with that, just basic economics 101s tells you that there'll be big winners and big losers and trying to figure out which one's going to be which I think is very risky.
Booth advises not rushing to buy IPOs at listing; on average investors do better waiting for price discovery.
I think there's no rush to buy the stock on the IPO. Clearly, the winners, you miss out on something. But if you take all of them together, you're better off just kind of waiting and let the market settle and then jump in.
